I had high hopes for this to get some VHS tapes into my computer. Never did get it working correctly and returned it. Perhaps it's user error, but I'm pretty comfortable with this stuff, including building my own computers. Don't want to slam the product in case it's on me; it just didn't work.
We purchased this product for my husband to hook up his underwater Quad camera to the computer. I wasn't sure if this would work, but for $15 I thought it was worth a try. He wanted to make videos of spear fishing to send to friends. Other cables we looked at cost $75. Well, it works awesome. and friends and family have been enjoying the videos.
I am pleased with this product. Shipping was fast.Have been wanting to transfer my vhs home movies to dvd, now I can. Thanks.
The device seems ok, but only works with its own included software (tried Nero and VirtualDub, and both failed to work with it). Included software is horrible, it won't work on a PC with multiple capture devices (crashes), takes a lot of CPU power, and the recording starts skipping frames after a few minutes.
I will buy another one for my mother and she also like it. I love this product, I installed in 5 minute and was able to edit all my video. I was able to burn all my Video on DVD within minutes after installing it. Very easy to use. I recomment this product to all my friends.
